Who is Raghava Lawrence?
Lawrence Raghavendra is an Indian actor, director, dancer, and playback singer. He was born on 29 October 1976. When he was a child, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
However, he got cured with age, and he believed that the guru Raghavendra Swamy cured his tumor. Thus, he acquired the name Raghava and even got built the Raghavendra Swamy Brindavanam Temple in Thirumullaivayal.
Interesting Turn of Events That Led to His Career
Raghava was a normal person who used to clean the car of fight master Super Subbarayan. However, one day, when he was dancing on the sets of a Rajnikanth film, Thalaiva noticed him and asked him to join the Dancers Union.
Consequently, Raghava started appearing as a background dancer in many films and even worked with the famous choreographer Prabhu Deva. In 1997, Chiranjeevi offered him the task of becoming a choreographer for his film Hitler, and he was quite impressed with his performance. Consequently, he roped him into choreographing for his next films too.
It was only in 1999 that a producer, TVD Prasad, offered him the main role in his movie Speed Dancer, which was based on dance. However, that film turned out to be a flop. This was just the beginning of his career, and after that, he started appearing in many films.
In 2002, Raghava Lawrence played a lead role in the Tamil film Arpudham, which was not a complete failure. After that, he appeared in movies like-

The major breakthrough in his career, however, was when he got the movie Muni in 2007 (on which the Bollywood film Laxmi was based.) He even had a short appearance in the film Laxmi, which added up to his fame.
Currently, he is busy working on his next film “Chandramukhi 2” which is speculated to have stars such as Simran Bagga, Kiara Advani, etc.

Raghava Lawrence is deeply involved in social activities. He has aided a plethora of children in having heart surgeries. Also, he is often seen taking part in welfare protests and providing food and other necessities to others in the protest. Recently, he even donated Rs 1 crore to aid the Kerala flood victims.
