Have you ever wondered how to eat strawberry while taking a bite? I don’t know about you but I sometimes ponder over it quite a few times. Can it be used for something else? What more can I do with the strawberry I’m eating?
So, today is the day my friends, when you will discover the question of how to eat strawberry in more than one way.
An Introduction
You might be a lover of strawberry but did you know it is the only fruit with seeds on the outside? Crazy right? It was a shocking revelation for somebody like me too who loves strawberries,( in fact every other berry) but never knew its uniqueness.
Not only this, but in reality strawberry is not actually a berry, since its seeds are on the outside. Due to its false appearance, it is also called a “false berry,” by botanists. I might as well question my love for the berry which has never been a berry my whole life! For now we need to focus on how to eat strawberry first.
Now you might be wondering what exactly is a strawberry then. Botanists prefer calling it “accessory fruit,” or “aggregate fruit,” which refers to multiple fruits in one. Meaning, strawberry is a combination of various tiny fruits in one. The seeds you see are not actually seeds but ovaries. In simple words, every seed is a fruit which contains its own seeds.
Anyway, let’s keep this berry business for later and focus on how to eat strawberry?
