In 2017, Dharsha Gupta was seen for the first time in a Tamil television serial named Mullum Malarum. The serial aired on Zee Tamil and made her a famous personality. Consequently, she caught the eyes of the household audience and also the producers and directors of south Indian cinema.
This helped her get another role in a TV serial Senthoora Poove which aired on Star Vijay. The show started in 2020, and in this, Dharsha played an important role alongside Ranjith.
