Early Life
Ranveer was born on 8 February 1978 in Lucknow. He was inspired by his mother and developed a passion for cooking at an early age. Ranveer’s father Ishwar Singh used to work at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and his mother is a homemaker. He has one sibling Shalu. Despite being from a traditional Sikh family his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion.
Ranveer completed his schooling at H.A.L School, Lucknow and then he studied and worked in hospitality at the Institute of Hotel Management, Lucknow. He became the youngest executive sous chef at a five-star hotel The Taj Mahal Hotel in India.

Career
